Quarantine sucks, but it doesn’t have to

Quarantine sucks. If it’s not you, your friends in quarantine who would really benefit from as much support as you can give them. Missing two weeks of school is overwhelming and everyone can see it. Your friends are just your chosen family and family always comes first, so don’t let yourself or your friends get too far into their own heads. Sometimes opening up can be a little awkward, but having (or being) awesome friends who are willing to help each other through that will only bring you closer. Moreover, it can really do a lot to make a hard, hard time pass easier.

“How are you feeling? It’s important to me to know you’re doing alright.”
“You hanging in there on quarantine? Just wanna remind you that I am (we are) here for you.”
“I can’t wait to see you back at school. Make sure you’re taking care of yourself. You got this!”

All of these are examples of caring things you can say to your friends to remind them that you care about them and they will really appreciate you for reminding them that they matter. It’s free to love your friends and everyone should do it proudly and often. The more you do it, the easier it becomes to know when your loved ones need it.
